Classical Languages Major
The normal requirement for a major in Classical Languages is a minimum of six classes in the language of emphasis (ancient Greek or Latin), one survey course in the language of emphasis, and three additional courses from the Classics Department. The precise determination of these three courses is made by the chair in consultation with the student and the student’s advisor.
